What is Guido?
Starting a company is difficult.
It's difficult because you're trying to create something that doesn't exist yet. There are so many unknowns. There isn't even a clear definition of success in the beginning. You're making decisions with very less information and hoping you'll know enough before you run out of time or money.
Not because it's risky. Plenty of careers are risky.
This is why startups are hard.
Because experience is impossible to borrow.
Not because founders lack intelligence.
Or at least, that's what most people think.
A surprising amount of startup knowledge can be passed on. Not through lectures or playbooks, but through conversations with people who've already made the mistakes you're about to make.
We've found the opposite.
A founder or operator who's spent five years building similar products can often spot a problem in five minutes—not because they're smarter, but because they've seen it before.
That's the gap Guido exists to fill.
We help founders in every critical aspect of company building - product development and technology to market research, go-to-market strategy, fundraising, compliance, team building, and access to the right network.
Guido is a venture building platform.
We work with founders before the company has taken shape—when there's an idea, an early product, or a handful of users, but the path ahead is still unclear. We help founders think through the hard questions, build an MVP, find product-market fit, raise capital, acquire clients and, more importantly, learn how to build a company.
For the duration of the program, we act as an extension of the founding team. We challenge assumptions, solve problems together, open the right doors, and stay involved in the day-to-day journey of building the company.
We're deliberately small.
Not because we want to be exclusive, but because the way we help founders is difficult to do at scale. Real mentorship comes from spending time together, arguing over product decisions, questioning assumptions, and being around when things don't go according to plan.
Built by product people, Guido is grounded in one belief: great products require focus. We follow that same principle ourselves, concentrating on a few domains where our experience can have the greatest impact on founders.
Today we're focused on AI-native startups.
Because that's where we see extraordinary opportunities for new companies to emerge. Tomorrow the frontier may look different. Guido's mission won't.
Technology changes. Problems don't.
If Guido becomes known for anything, we hope it's this: founders leave stronger than they arrived.
